"State of LA Danse" FA 08

AFFORADABILITY, ADMISSIONS & AUDITIONS

Most people are pleasantly surprised when they discover the actual cost of attending UL Lafayette. With moderate tuition and fees, significantly lower than those of most comparable universities and a generous financial aid and scholarship program, students find that a UL Lafayette education comes at an affordable price.

Admission to the program is a two-part process. In order for a student to be considered for admission as a Theatre or Dance major, he or she must apply to the University as well as complete an audition.

STEP 1:

Students who fully meet the University’s published admissions criteria will be offered Guaranteed Admission.

Guaranteed Freshman Admission Requirements for In-State Students: A completion of the Louisiana Board of Regents' high school core curriculum and a mathematics ACT score of at least 19 (460 Math SAT) or an English ACT score of at least 18 (450 Verbal/Critical Reasoning SAT) AND EITHER,

1) high school GPA of 2.5 or higher using an unweighted 4.0 scale OR

2) ACT composite score of at least 23 (SAT 1050--combined Math & Verbal/Critical Reasoning) with at least a 2.0 GPA

OR
